Nile River is known as the longest river in the world but it has far more differences from a ordinary river. The nile river has a lengths of about 6650km. The river goes through 11 different countries, Sudan, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Congo, Egypt and more. The people in these country uses the river as a main water resource of there daily life because of its enormous amounts of water it can hold. The Nile river is made up of two rivers connecting at Khartoum which is a place in Sudan. The two rivers are called White Nile and Blue Nile and John Hanning speke went to find the source of the White Nile which is lake Victoria. The source of the Blue Nile is Lake Tana. Speke went to explorer the source of the Nile River from Zanzibar which is a island in Tanzania.
